I’m Leslie Sobnosky, founder of Slo Luxe Travel Design. Like so many of us, I spent years rushing through life—always busy, always connected, and never truly present. My travel experiences started to feel the same: speeding through site inspections, jam-packed itineraries, and tours that left no time to breathe. I realized I didn’t want to just see places anymore—I wanted to experience them.

As I’ve grown, I’ve gravitated toward travel that feels intentional and peaceful. I seek resorts and destinations that allow for quiet moments, intuitive service, and authentic connections—whether it’s a meaningful conversation with a bartender, an unrushed meal with loved ones, or simply time away from screens.

Our Story

Slo Luxe was inspired by Leslie’s father, who taught her the art of savoring life. He worked hard, but when he traveled, he lived it up big. Together, they shared unforgettable experiences: flying on the Concorde, retracing family’s roots in Rome, and sharing stories over perfect cocktails. He taught her the invaluable lesson that no two moments can be repeated. When something feels life-changing, you have to slow down, savor it, and take it all in.
